Teresa Almeida d'Eça is a retired EFL teacher, author, award-winning teacher and certified teacher trainer in Web 2.0 tools and Innovation in Education.

She started involving her 5th-6th grade students in educational technology in 1998 first with email exchanges, then blended learning. She's the recipient of the international EU Schoolnet e-Learning Awards 2007, Gold Prize in the category of "School of the Future" with her curricular blog CALL Lessons 2005-2007

For ten years she co-coordinated and co-moderated Becoming a Webhead, a TESOL-sponsored 5-week exclusively online professional development workshop about how to use Web 2.0 tools in language teaching and learning.

Her most recent work is Pronunciation Made Easy for Portuguese-speaking Learners of English, an e-dictionary that she self-published based on a pronunciation strategy she created for her students: using Portuguese sounds to make pronouncing English intuitive, or "bridging the L1 and the L2".

She's a member of APPITESOLWebheads in Action (an online community of practice of EFL/ESL teachers worldwide) and Radical English.
